Sales Manager

Job Description

  • Accountable for the development and execution of a clearly outlined action plan to realise the sales targets for the assigned territory from probiotics industry
  • Identify and establish new business for the assigned territory.
  • Identify and appoint distributors & establish distribution network
  • Prepare the forecast sales & volumes for all products/channels for the assigned territory
  • Prepare market mapping for the assigned territory
  • Organise sales and technical visits within the assigned territory to ensure that distributors are commercially and technically supported to meet both the company’s overall strategy and goals as well as the customers’ needs
  • Develop a good understanding of key accounts / customers, their needs and support these needs by creating and delivering value based solutions to the customers
  • Demonstrated ability to establish a high level of trust, respect & influence with customers along with stake holders
  • Provide input to the product and R&D management team needed to strengthen the product portfolio, develop training and supporting material based on market trends and customer needs
  • Attend & represent company at local fairs, trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings and find new business partners and customers
